We have had a wonderful day immersing ourselves in our new topic the VICTORIANS!!

Our classroom was set up in rows just like a Victorian school – we had to use chalk and black paper to represent slate.  It was difficult to write with chalk and it smudged!

We had our finger nails checked and were given Victorian names, which were hilarious!  Here are a few examples:

Lettuce Burger, Alien, Princess Cheese, Toilet, Bovril and Misery.

Amazingly, these were all genuine Victorian names!

We have worked hard to transform our learning environment to reflect our topic.
