To celebrate their work this term about the life and works of Charles Dickens and in preparation for their forthcoming workshop performance at Wilton’s Music Hall, Year 5 visited the famous museum in London that bears his name.
It was actually where he lived for three years and we saw the actual writing desk where he imagined and wrote down some of the most famous works in English literature. Oliver Twist, A Christmas Carol and The Pickwick Papers to name a few.
The classes were divided into two. One had a tour of the museum and the other a workshop. Later they swapped. Details about our performance at Wilton’s will follow later.
