We were extremely proud to be invited to Tate Modern on Tuesday, to take part in a special event – Tate Modern Assembly – where over 1000 children from London celebrated art and creativity together. Tate Modern is one of the largest museums of modern and contemporary art in the world.
Delaunay Class were brilliant ambassadors for Lansbury Lawrence, and immersed themselves in the day. We saw different kinds of art; video, paintings, sculpture – even a sculpture made out of couscous!
We thought about our journey to the gallery, and our journey around the gallery – Tate Modern is a very big building – and drew maps, which we joined together to make a big collaborative journey of the day.
Thank you to the parents who came with us and helped make the day such a success.
