Today we heard the story ‘The Mammoth Hunt’ about a boy named Kroll, who has to hunt with his tribe for the first time. Understandably, he is afraid and nervous but when he remembers ‘The Hunter’s Song’ his father used to sing to him he finds the courage to strike!

As the story points out, during the stone age, stories and songs were probably shared within the tribe, around a fire. With the smell of the burning wood we could really imagine what story time might have been like in the stone age. We could still smell the smoke hours later too :-/
