Greetings from Blossom Class! This week we held a Reading at Home workshop for parents and their children. We talked about setting aside time each night to get into a routine of a bath, a book, then bed. We went over the importance of a child choosing a book that interests them. Children can help you hold the book the right way. They can tell you what they see in the pictures. You can ask questions about what you have read. Books that rhyme also help children develop and sense of what words might come next. Don’t forget you can read both story books and information books with your children!

Happy reading!
