This week, P4C ambassadors from Years 5 and 6 went to Manorfield Primary School to take part in our very first Philosophone!

The Philosophy for Children session consisted of 6 different schools in the Poplar area coming together with 8 students representing each school. After having viewed an anti bullying week video they came up with the question “What would happen if people had no emotions?” Children then went on to answer the question with amazing responses, such as, “if we had no emotions there would be no point to life as we live to feel something.” The children were invigorated from the session and felt very keen to share new P4C conversation with their class mates!

We hope this will be the first of many Philosophone sessions where children head to other schools to take part in a bigger P4C conversation!
