On Monday 10th October, Year 4 went on their trip to Westminster Abbey as part of their theme and English work. The children were able to guide themselves around the Abbey and learned lots of facts, for example, Charles Dickens is buried in the Abbey and the royal coronation takes place there too. They will use this learning to create their own information leaflets, which will be sent back to the Abbey for use. We then had time to take in the sights of the great Tower Bridge, which they wrote a non-chronological report about in class last week. Overall a wonderful day with wonderful weather! Year 4 recommend this trip.
