Next year in July 2018 ,year 6 will be embarking on a trip to Lambourne End as part of their school journey. Lambourne End is said to be a centre of excellence to build your young person`s courage; we are looking forward to stepping out of our comfort zone.

The expectation is that all 60 children go on this trip  (as it will be their last moments together as a class, also  it’s for them to bond during their time). A few children in year 6 decided on activities that they thought would be fun, adventurous and memorable for the year group. Children will be doing activities such as swimming, raft building, wall climbing ( abseiling) and kayaking. This experience will be terrific for the children and  a once in a lifetime opportunity for them. Furthermore, we are fortunate to be going to a place where there are a variety of free activities for us to participate in, such as: visiting the farm, making a camp fire and cooking our own meals.

The costings of this amazing trip has not been provided yet but you will be provided with more information in Spring 2018.

Please think about this and let your child enjoy their last moments of Lansbury Lawrence with their valued classmates as well as their friends who might not be going to the same secondary school.
