Van Gogh class made some amazing maps today. They learned about contour lines, which are the lines on a map which show how steep the ground is. If the lines are close together the ground is very steep and if the lines are far apart the ground is more flat.
We cut mountains from cardboard and painted them on a background. When our work was dry we drew contour lines.
