This week we have been exploring part-part whole by using cuisenaires.  We have attempted to solve problems by identifying the ‘known’ and the ‘unkown’ and applying this to the bar model.  We have found this quite challenging, but have persevered and never gave up.  Now, we are all confident using cuisenaires to represent a problem and draw our own bar models to represent and solve problems.

Our in class assembly focused on Community, we certainly displayed values of team work, support and collaboration in maths.
