A busy week in Year 1 again

This week has been so busy in Year 1. We have been learning all about one more/one less in maths, writing some beautiful sentences about our book, Home by Carson Ellis, and continuing to explore our senses in science.

Not to mention, we have been treated to a special music workshop by Aga and Rob where we learnt 3 new songs. We also got to play out on Ricardo Street on Thursday thanks to Play Street.

In maths we practised one more/one less using a giant number line and with our ten frames.

In Science we went on a senses walk and played I-Spy to see what we could find using our sight. We also learnt about our hearing and played ‘Guess the Sound’ and listened to a beautiful piece of music called The Swan.
