Today was a really exciting day in Hepworth class! An animator called Mr Lambert came in to teach us all about animation, from the history of the first moving pictures by Eadweard Muybridge to how modern animators today use computers to produce films.

In the morning, we made flip books that produce the illusion of a person doing a backflip that we could keep in our pocket to show family and friends.
Then, in the afternoon, we created a stop motion animation to go with our healthy eating song! It needs a bit of working on, but we hope it will be ready to present to everyone by Christmas

Whilst some groups were working on the stop motion animation, the rest of the class was learning how to make a healthy fruit salad, step by step, as a healthy alternative to fatty and sugary snacks! It was delicious! Have a look at some of our wonderful creations!!
