On Friday 4th November, Year 1 went on a trip to Mudchute Farm.
As soon as we got there we were on the lookout for different kinds of animals. We saw horses, chickens and lamas, ponies and cows, ducks, very noisy geese and huge squealing pigs. We also went head to head with the sheep and goats as we took turns feeding them their favourite meal of Cabbage.
We focused a lot on listening to the sounds that the animals made and with the help of Gawain, who kindly joined us with his amazing recording equipment, we were able to record all of the animal sounds. We look forward to listening to all the sounds we recorded later on in the term as we continue this half terms topic ‘Farmer Duck’.
